If not yet, it’s time to make yourself aware with one of the leading Italian designer Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani who is best known as Valentino.
As a fashion designer, Valentino profile is as strong as Ralph Lauren and other leading fashion designers. He is a founder of the Valentino SpA brand and company. His popular lines were Valentino, Valentino Rome, Valentino Garavani and R.E.D. Valentino.
His achievement as a designer is clearly shown through his awards- The Neiman Marcus Award (award by a luxury specialty retail department store operated by the Neiman Marcus Group in the US), Cavaliere del Lavoro (Order of Merit for Labor) and Grande Uffciale Dell’ Ordine Al Merito Della Repubblica Italiana (Order of Merit of the Italian Republic).
Since his childhood Valentino took interest in fashion and loved to visit local designer Ernestina Salvadeo regularly with his aunt. After completion of his high school, he moved to Paris to leave his dream. His parents supported him much. There he studied at the best school of fine arts.
In 1959, he first opened his fashion house in Rome with the support of his father. Right after, he first unveiled his creation in the Paris show. The Paris show had changed his life in one night. People appreciated his ready-to-wears and had got popularity as a “Valentino red” due to his marvelous red dress creation.
Valentino’s international debut took place in 1962 in Florence and his first show named “Pitti Palace” had appreciated by fashion lovers all across the world. His fashion house is still achieving wonderful goals in the fashion industry.
