The story about Jimmy Choo begins more than a decade ago. One of today’s top fashion designers had considerable help getting started from two women. Together, the three talented people started a business that presented few opportunities, but they were quite ambitious and had very strong dreams about the future. Soon, even the British Royal family were wearing their shoes.

Early Beginnings
The design skills of Jimmy Choo became the basis for his fashion empire. He was born in Malaysia in 1961 into a family of shoemakers. Like many children of creative people, Choo tried to imitate what his parents were doing at the early age of 11 when he made his first pair of shoes. He immigrated to England and in the early 80s began studying fashion, focusing on design-oriented shoemaking at Cordwainers’ Technical College in London as well as of the London College of Fashion. Although he possessed a great deal of talent, he had no financial backing to pursue this dream of becoming a world famous designer.
Choo Gets a Break Named Tamara
Tamara Melton entered Choo’s life playing a dominant role that helped shape his early success for the then unknown Jimmy Chow, his real name long before “Choo” took the world stage. Melton came from a rich family whose father controlled Vidal Sassoon. She was also a very beautiful woman who just happened to be addicted to shoes. Her employment was scouring the world for stylishly unique shoes that would be highlighted in articles published in the London fashion magazine Vogue. She found exactly the talented designs of who was to become Jimmy Choo.
A Family Tag Team
Choo was working unnoticed hammering out exclusive top-quality hand-made shoes with his niece, Sandra Choi (the other woman in his life). They had the unbelievable ability to produce extremely comfortable high-heel shoes. Melton added her own fashion savvy to the mix – along with her father’s money – and the empire was started in 1996. In April 2001, Choo sold 50 percent of the company for £10 million.
He concentrates his efforts now on the exclusive Jimmy Choo Couture line.

Shopping is fun at the same time an expedition. I finally picked up the leather sandal I had been craving for, from the Jimmy Choo array just a couple of days back. It is so soothing and comfy in the summers with such strapped sandals that I’m contemplating on buying the other strapped shoes too. The black tint and the trivial heel make it all the more striking- it is for sure a wonderful fashion accessory for all my attires!
You must be knowing how much of a compulsive shopper I am but I guess for once I bought something anyone would! The handbag I picked from Jimmy Choo, cannot be evaluated with the local ones. This one is a prototyped patent leather shoulder bag which is designed in a bigger shape. The ultra-luxe finish and the dog clip hardware on the whole create it unruffled as well as sophisticated. It could fit in all you requirements opening wide enough even to bear your umbrella make-up stuff and even a pair of shoes. This piece is actually the one which will be useful for my long trips as well!
I know I’ve told you about a sandal already but I completely fell in love with the pair of shoes from Christian Louboutin Collection. Highlighted by its violet color, it is a single strapped with pretty fleets on the covering portion. Though your fingers get covered, slight portions of your feet get exposed.
There was also a pair of pink colored shoes to go with my light milky white gown that I’ll surely buy next month. It’s a peep toe with a normal heel and done in satin material the shoes fir any flamboyant party wear.
With the stocks around, I have to confess- I wish I was richer!!!
