Fendi, the Italian fashion house, is best known for its extremely sophisticated collection called “baguette” handbags. The emerging fashion house came into existence in 1925 in Rome where a small leather and fur shop was opened.
Today, it is known as one of the best multinational luxury goods brand that has been successfully running by LVMH. The year 2010 is considered a lucky year for FENDI as the brand earned pound 286.9 million that year. The whopping amount has included in FENDI profile.
Going through the managing department of FENDI, its headquarter is in Rome, Italy and the creative director is Karl Lagerfeld who is a German fashion designer, photographer and artist. The multitalented director has collaborated on a variety of art and fashion related project. Now, the fashion house is successfully running under his surveillance. The CEO of the luxury fashion house is Michael Allan Burke.
FENDI is well proficient in furs, fragrances, eyewear, timepieces and writing instruments. Its handbags are style statement for many. You can buy the brand luxury goods at any reputed online store. Make sure about the authenticity of its luxury products. If you are purchasing a bag, make sure about the finishing and fabric. FENDI is famous for selling high quality bags.
If you observe any unmanaged finishing touch, it means you are on the way to purchase fake bags. No wonder, FENDI has made a good reputation in the fashion market, if you follow the style of this brand you will easily come into the modern person category.
The weather should be warming up soon in many parts of the world, and it’s only fitting to dress for the balmier temperatures. Luxury fashion houses Fendi and Yves Saint Laurent are leading the pack with guys’ looks that look both casual and literally cool.
Stefano Pilati at YSL probably didn’t intend to make clothes that were softer or more comfortable than the usual, but that’s exactly how his creations turned out. Silk suits, voile and organza – all of them fabrics usually reserved for womens’ wear – were used liberally, resulting in lighter and more casual looking pieces. This neutral ensemble represents how the collection ended up – slouchy and soft with just a bit of cool.
Silvia Venturini Fendi was in a situation similar to Pilati’s – she wanted to make a statement, but ended up giving a completely different first impression. Lighter fabrics combined with more vivid colors created a more youthful and laid back vibe. The soft, cropped pants and shoes-sans-socks look helped, too. This collarless, open-top, light brown number paired with the gray pants looks slouchy enough to lounge in, yet stylish enough to wear to dinner at the parents’.
All this casualness has got sticklers to formality all in a dither, but it spells good news for you, especially once the sun begins peeking out again. Gone (for now) are the days when stylish means structured to the point of stiff. The tailored look might have been popular on the runways a couple of season’s back, but expect guys to begin taking a more relaxed stand with their style. What’s current and new at trendy in fashion houses like Fendi and YSL should be making their way to the general public in a couple of months.
Stock up on more neutral colored pieces in soft cotton or silk blends, with the odd red or blue top thrown in. If you always wear what you feel is most comfortable, now’s your chance to look fashion-updated while you’re at it.

While it’s true that designer fashion is indeed a luxury for the well-off, there are just some things that only the truly wealthy, only the likes of richly reared royalty and oil-owning oligarchs can afford. This season, Fendi shows that it’s one such luxury, and that you’d better be prepared to pay a lot of zeroes for what they’re selling.
Fur is the first item on the Fendi fashion shopping list, and it definitely had a lot of the material for this season (which is probably why so many of the pieces were really short). Of course, everybody’s been doing fur this season – reason enough for Lagerfeld to take the furry fashion trend several notches up. Fendi isn’t just using plain old plebian astrakhan; several Fendi pieces had fur that had 24k gold applied to the individual hairs using patented Fendi technology. It’s one thing to have designer goods, but having your outerwear double as bling (like the furry gold coat over the brown belted number) is a whole new level of luxury altogether.

Knit was another big (but not as bling-y) item in the Fendi collection for this season. There were several knit tops such as the belted navy wrap paired with the ruffled skirt that fair-haired Agyness Deyn thoroughly worked up and down the runway. But when it’s a simple yet exquisite knit top against patented gold-treated coats, there’s no contest about which one will make bigger waves in the fashion industry – and dents in the checkbooks of the wealthy.
Without looking too much at the details, Lagerfeld’s collection for this season actually looks quite similar to Jean Paul Gaultiers. If, however, you want to tone down the eccentricity and turn the elitism way up, Fendi is your friend for this season. This is fashion you can take all the way to the bank (and the jeweler’s), honey.
