Summer Special - Part 2: Shoes, Shoes, Shoes!
29 May 2008 by AstarteHello everyone,
here is my second part to the summer special. It’s so hot, so we can remove the thick boots and shoes and look for light, summery shoes.
I wrote in one of my last entries that colors are very ‘in’ and this also counts for shoes. We see a lot of bright colors this season, as well as exotic skins and gladiator sandals. The Grecian style is also seen on heels and wedges.
Yellow colored shoes are also trendy, like in the clothes department.
Loafers are very comfortable shoes like those by Cole Haan. They are made of yellow patent leather.
Those unique shoes are by Leopoldo Giordano.
What do you think of gladiator sandals? They are still very ‘in’ and seem comfy to wear. They come in a lot of colors, not only in brown tones.
Shoes by Farylrobin
Those shoes by L.A.M.B. combine the gladiator trend with a heel.
Those gladiator shoes look more sophisticated and the white bands make it look very summery.
Another pair by Farylrobin that looks very feminine and cute because of the pink detail.
Chunky shoes with pattern draw a lot attention and were often seen on the catwalks this season.
Shoes by Prada
Wedge shoes are always very comfortable to wear. Those black Prada ones can be worn daily and are perfect for the office.
Some more Prada shoes I came across:
Those shoes in a silver tone are great for a night out and I love the bow details.
What do you think about the new shoe trends for the summer? Have you already found your favourite pair?

The Jordan XX2, which was unveiled for the 2006-2007 NBA Season, is in simple fact a plain design, however it appears to work.
On the back again can be an almost checkered pattern that breaks up the sea of ordinary. This pair essentially utilizes dark and light colours to create its case, almost indicating Nike made a decision to hold out it risk-free on this one.
It does not possess the allure of unique colors, which it certainly could have benefited from, but at identical time, it does not horribly clash either.
Playing it risk-free could possibly appear dull to sum, however it worked out for Nike this time, permitting the XX2’s getting positioned among the center from the pack.
