Hello again to you all!!

I’ve been away for a bit and have been chomping at the bit to get back here and write something about the new Miu Miu Harlequin handbag that I find absolutely divine!!

This new style has absolutely knocked me for a loop! The distressed leather is absolutely scrumptious and the coordinated colors make this bag so versatile for so many different outfits that it is just mind-boggling!

The harlequin styled squares make this bag so unique from others that I find myself simply taken with it. The smoosh factor is also one of my personal criteria for a bag that I want in my collection and Miu Miu has hit it right on the head.

We’ve already had enough of winter, of the cold, wet and rainy days and I cannot wait for spring!

Therefore it’s time to add new pieces to our wardrobe, to refresh our closets with colors, new patterns and accessories. The change of the season also gives us a great opportunity to look through our closets and decide what pieces we want to keep and what we want to give away. So we make room for new pieces and toss away stuff we haven’t worn in such a long time.

My first blog entry will be about new shoes. The first shoes are in a classic black/white design from Burberry with a flat heel. I love the buckle at the top, it gives them a very feminine look.

The next ones are flats by Dior. They look so comfortable and the lilac color is just adorable. Have you seen the C  and D details/charms?

Those shoes are by Gucci. It has a very maritime look and are classic in its white, red and black colors. The heel is quite flat, so they are great for wearing all day long.

Aren’t the next shoes from Marc Jacobs just adorable? What do you think? I believe they are perfect for the new season!

The next pairs are in patent, which is still a huge trend and must-have in every closet. I love pastel and the bow details in the last three pairs.

I came across my friend who was wearing beautiful shoes in a pool party recently, it was a classic pair of Gucci shoes and then I visited styledrops.com store at her idea. This time we caught Jessica Alba and Eva Mendes wearing the same Fendi dress.

Eva Mendes wore this dress in January in Paris promoting her new movie, Live!, where she is playing a TV network executive who tries to produce a controversial reality show where contestants play Russian Roulette.

Jessica Alba chose to wear the same dress in Paris as well but for the Paris Fashion Week where she attended the Fendi fashion show. Jessica is currently promoting her new movie ‘The Eye’ in Europe.

The dress is basically black and simple but the ruched bottom makes it something special and chic. It’s a knee-length dress with skinny straps and two visible seams which gives is a great tapered shape.

So, on whom do you like it better? Do you prefer it on Eva with bare legs or Jessica with tights? I guess I like it better on Eva because it looks great without tights and I also like Eva’s hair-do better. I don’t like how Jessica combined the dress with big hoop earrings, it’s too much. Overall, I think the shape and style appears better on Eva.

For all the lovers of black, I raise a toast before giving you the good news. Black looks gorgeous at every possible occasion- official or social. Prada has their nylon line of bags. They are what I consider to be the alter ego to their beautiful line of leather handbags.

Well, Gucci has come out with a great alternative to their beautiful patent leather handbags. The new fabric is called Dialux and I have been told that it is actually made of PVC. Yes, PVC! It is suppose to be a very soft and very durable fabric.

Now, I am a huge fan of handbags which will withstand the elements and this new line offered by Gucci seems to be exactly what I had in mind. Very stylish, classy and I understand that the price is also very reasonable as well!

It doesn’t get much better than that in my book, Ladies!

I have also mentioned this before, but it I have become very smitten with the Patent leather handbags lately. This new Patent leather is not the same quality of Patent leather that I remember growing up with. Unlike the old hard and plastic-like texture that I remember from years ago, this new Patent leather is soft and fluid. Of course, because it is still leather, Patent leather also has a higher price tag.

So you now have choices. You can spend a bit more and buy a Patent leather bag, or you can save a bit and opt for the Dialux fabric bag.

Either way, it’s still Gucci!

I hope all our shopping addicted readers will be glad to know that styledrops.com now sells aso Gucci clothing and Prada clothing , either for man or woman.
